The short clip reminded me of the Sunday mornings (rain, shine, bitter cold or snow) that we’d take Zeke to the dog park to play with his friends. The video is paired with happy music. Bet you dinner you smile at least once and your heart warms at least one degree. (Easy Money!)
Good Sunday Morning.

That isn’t a fair bet…and if one happens to be a dog lover, it isn’t even within reason to think that one can watch this and not smile.

Look above on my blogs tag line. Do you see “fair” anywhere up there. I’m keeping score. And you now owe me one.

Lol…don’t we need someone a tad more objective to keep score?

Nothing better than seeing a bunch of dogs having a good ole time!

Yes. Happy times. Until the dog fight of course. 🙂

LOL. Indeed. I saw a Dogue de Bourdeaux *clear* an area once with one, good, deep rumbling growl. The message was unequivocal–I even tucked my til between my legs and ran…. 😉

I’d be stressed right out worrying about the dogfight part.

Yes, all part of the gig Anneli. My experience has been that the dogs with owners in morning are far more behaved than the dogs that visit later. And one can jump to a large number of conclusions from this generalization. 🙂

Dog parks can be fun for the buddies as long as they all play nice. My daughter’s pup has had a couple of bad experiences with older male dogs. Owners really need to have a handle on their dogs if they are going to bring them to the park. I prefer to bring doggie friends to my yard for my pups to play with, it works out great. Happy Sunday David 🙂

I completely agree Tina. We have stopped taking Zeke to the dog park for exactly this reason. But it was a large part of his growing up puppy life. Happy Sunday to you too Tina.

Fun video. Love all the smack downs, the occasional slow motion, and of course great capture of the drinking action at the end!!

Yes, the slow motion interruptions and drinking scenes stuck with me too!

So I just read your Zeke post from January and stopped in my tracks. That could have been me writing the first paragraph. And I have not made the “progress” you have.
I tried really hard NOT to smile but a half-smile snuck up on me in the first minute.

Laughing. Have to say that Zeke has brought an entirely new dimension into our family. However, the commitment to a dog, is HUGE.

There is a “dog beach” in my community, encouraging canine frolic in the sand and fetching into the waves of Lake Michigan. Sometimes on my morning walk, I just sit and watch the fun. It is pure joy.
As for me, dogs are like boats. Better to have a friend with them than take it on myself.

Laughing. I use the same term to compare owning a boat vs. mooching from a friend. Lot of truth to that. I’ve come around though…

I know what you mean, David. I’ve enjoyed dogs, cats, hamsters, even bunny rabbits as pets. Just don’t want to own them anymore. As my sister says: “Freedom means you’ve written the last tuition check and the dog’s died.”

I have to place more one-sided bets like this. It feels good to win all the time. 🙂
