    1. Smiling. You have such a great eye and love how your mind works. It was fun. It was like a puzzle, not easy to get alignment and took some juggling. Thank you Anneli. You are certainly top of mind when I listed Blog Followers in my Happiness Is list.

      1. Oh my gosh, my ego is going to bust wide open. But seriously, I would love to have been there to help you make that list. It really looks like fun. This coming from a word and puzzle fanatic.

  1. The branches of trees in summer, heavy with fruits, delightfully swaying with summer breeze.
May your summer branches always be heavy with Your Happiness…

  2. Woohoo! Are the kids coming home for a visit or is this a general happy statement? Adding my one more – remembering all that makes me happy when I don’t feel like it.

  3. I was just thinking specifically about Miami. There is a hybrid hostel, Freehand Miami, that I love and it’s one of my happy places. My dad passed on the 14th in Maine and it was a steel blue cold day. I need Miami and it’s hustle, soft warm sand, raspberry blue water, and old men in t-shirts, sitting on stoops, holding small dogs, loving their breathing, heart beating lives.

    1. Elizabeth, so sorry to hear about your Dad…

And I was swept away by your words (steel blue cold day – hustle, soft warm sand, raspberry blue water… – holy moly – that is some fine writing….!

  4. Happiness is this delightful list, which made me smile and nod. I’ll add another (and my wish for you…) “Happiness is puppy breath.” Enjoy your time with Rachel, pal!

  5. Very creative!

I too LOVE CBS Sunday Morning. In fact, I think it is my favorite thing on TV!

Enjoy your day today. Thanks for the cheer!

    Maggie

  6. That is a great beginning, DK. I have a feeling you could have continued until the last line filled the page. With no effort.

  7. Happiness…watching snow falling softly, silently, covering the firs, preparing them for midwinter’s dance…(sigh)…a beautiful calm, before the storm.
Thank you Dave, for the reminder to stop and ‘smell the roses’!

  8. OMG! So many shared happinesses. There are likely many, many more, creating such a lovely endless venn diagram – makes my heart race thinking of it. And reading everyone’s comments is such an added treat.
Most of all, the last line, because there is nothing like the happy energy our children bring when they come home.
