But the pleasant thing is to wake early, throw open the window, and lie reading in bed.

What a blissful thought, David, but sometimes the reality is quite different. Are you going out for your run today? 🙂
Hi Sylvia. I’m trying to build up a head of steam. I haven’t run in 3 weeks. I have my workout gear next to me next staring me down. If I don’t get going in 45 minutes it’s not going to happen! Let’s see.
You inspired me with your comment to get out and run. Thank you!
An absolute pleasure, David. Kudos! 🙂
Hi, do you mind if I “Reblog” your posts. Learned my lesson. Don’t want to offend anyone. Thank you, kindly. Hadel
Hi Hadel. You are welcome to reblog as many as you want. Enjoy.
Thank you! 😉
One side stop – read DK’s posts, feed the pups, grab some coffee and THEN back to bed with a book..
Awwwwwwww, smiling.

Yep, WMS. Only difference, I’m throwing a morning trip to the gym for Bootcamp in, then back home to snuggle in with my book. And DK, if ya don’t feel like running, how about a nice, long walk with Zeke? Also very good exercise, yet not so punishing on the body. Just think, the shiny object at the end of your run is some sort of tasty treat and a nap! And you’ll feel so virtuous! :>
You have valid points Lori. Especially the treats for Zeke and me at the end of the walk.
Perfect plan!
Saturday morning: ‘I’m really good at getting up at 5.30,’ says my toddler, brightly.
Ahhhhhh, cherish that moment Ophelia. You’ll look back at it later like some of us today and miss it.
I’m looking forward to the nostalgia 🙂

“But the pleasant thing is to wake early, throw open the window, and lie reading in bed.” After throwing the furry alarm clock out of the window…
Laughing. TRUE!
May I have this photograph for MY LIFE? *sigh* xx Amy
Me TOO Amy!
Just cool! A wonderful thing in the morning.
It is!
As I read…I’m tucked in…coffee and blogs. My workout clothes next to me, ready for me to change in to. Bootcamp at 9.Clock counting down…45, 30, 30… Brain trying to solve: should I go or should I stay?!?! Go!!
And, did you? Don’t leave us in suspense.
I did! Nearly *killed me* 🙂 but yes, I did go!
Laughing. Good for you!
Yes, as the saying goes – something like, you never regret a workout!
