this proves the ‘every day is a miracle’ theory.
Laughing. So true. From butterflies migrating to Mexico to this indulgence. All a miracle.
Reblogged this on In Search of Bliss.
Thanks for sharing Robert.
Total yumminess! I used to make chocolate chip pancakes every weekend for my sons – but this puts them (and my cookie pizza) to shame! What time are you serving?
Yes, I too have had chocolate chip pancakes Mimi. But this. This takes it up 10 notches. Serving brunch at 11am.
I’ll be there – tho’ I need directions. Oh…you didn’t send directions. Got it. 😉
Oh dear, this set off my craving for chocolate.
Me too, and that was before 6am. What IS wrong with me?
I will need to go to church afterwards because these are sinful!
Likely not enough. Need to head on a mission.
Lacing up those running shoes?
I did. I did!
Though, I probably have to run a marathon to shed a stack of these!
OMG. Well, pal, you know what Mark Twain said, “I deal with temptation by yielding to it.” 🙂
Laughing. I certainly do Lori. If you missed this David Brook’s article, it’s worthy – titled The Mental Virtues:
Didn’t see this, DK, but thx for the pointer. Will definitely check it out. Enjoy your Sunday! 🙂
You too Lori. Thanks.
Sunday IS for pancakes, but mine won’t be like this!
Oh come on Lulu. Live a little. 🙂
With blueberries, they weren’t all that bad!
Great substitute! Not as good as warm chocolate but hey, as long as the blueberries were coated in maple syrup, it is a great surrogate.
Akrasia: the state of acting against our better judgment. I’m right behind you!
I had NO idea such a word existed. Thanks for the English language lesson Carolann. Great word.
Akrasia (n): the state of mind in which someone acts against their better judgment through weakness of will.
Basically an orgasm on a plate. I am appalled.
OMG, my stomach hurts from laughing. CLASSIC. I live for your responses to these delicious posts!
OH, this is SO not fair! I have yet to have my breakfast and I am drooling! LOL Love, Amy
Laughing. I was drooling too. And it was even 6am here…
Oh, David, that was very naughty of you to do that! I just about fell off my chair yearning to dive into that stack of pancakes! LOL xx Amy
PS I’m staring at chocolate heaven here. OH MAN!
It is heaven. It is.
Oh, worship the chocolate in all it’s glory! How could you torture me with a picture like that, when I love chocolate but it doesn’t love me? Did you actually eat these for breakfast, Dave, or are you also torturing yourself?
🙂 Mostly torture Sarah. But the recipe is on short list for upcoming brunch…
After eating this I can forget about my dreams of becoming one of those dancers on the Parisian terrace.
Or you can dance like me, with anvil-like feet.
oh yeah! these look so good. 😀
They do!
Well…guess there will be no dancing upon a rooftop, light as a feather…for you. 🙂
If I wash it down with your grass shakes, it might work to lighten the load (so to speak).
Will make it but skipping the chocolate chips as garnish!
You’re leaving out the best part!
