Wally’s Great Adventures (50 – ‘snow day!’ – VOLUME UP) hello friends, wally here. i woke up this morning to see the world painted white. amazing! magic! like cottonballs all over. dad came back from his walk and i helped mom and dad clean the driveway. mom said that i was an excellent helper. dad smirked and looked at me and said ‘what are you doing?’ ‘what do you mean dad?’ ‘what are doing walking on your tippy-toes, and shivering like a little kitten? do you know you are canadian?” and dad told me that while i’m sharing my Great Adventure stories across the internet, to tell all you nice ladies out there he had nothing to do with me going out without my coat on. i told mom that i love her but i hate those stupid itchy jackets and i won’t put them on. and after all that fresh air and running on and eating the cotton balls, i took the world’s longest nap. so good. have a good evening everyone. Wally

That is SO cute. Wally eating snow and checking it out.
Thanks Anneli!
Looking good Wally! Do you want to be a rescue dog like the great big Saint Bernards?
After a quick Google search I found this article that gives an overview of the history of Saint Bernards. Not a terribly long article, but very interesting!

Fascinating. Thanks for sharing Paul!
Wally, do you have any idea how cute you are??
Awwwww. Thank you!
you are an inspiration, Wally. don’t let the naysayers get you down
Thanks Beth! Appreciate you!
You cutie pie, Wally 🤗
Thank you!
Ah little guy – you are intrepid!! Little legs sink in snow to the point where every step becomes an aerobic endeavor (I know this personally). Though Wally, I have too say that even if you hate those little coats, they do provide a little warmth, and if you’re going to explore the frozen tundra, you won’t be itchy for long!
Thanks Mimi. My belly rubs on the cold snow!
Seriously? Christmas music?
And finally, you have some snow to play in Wally. Must have been cold on your belly!
Right!!!!
Oh, Wally. Your little legs are too short for the deep snow! The video is so cute. And you love tasting the snow. Just don’t eat the yellow snow! Every day is a new adventure for you.
Thanks Darlene! I’ll watch out for that yellow snow!
Wow, Wally, you’ve come a long way from the days you’d pee indoors because you didn’t want to step on cold grass!
thanks Laila!
Instead of show dog, what about model?
hmmmmmm.
He can learn to sit and stay, then jut sit for the photo.
Big Task. Need lot’s of cookies!
Yes, the tiny training cookies and lots of time on learning to stay. My kids aren’t 100% on that if they get too excited. Like when someone been gone, they both have anxiety.
A wee jacket can be a good thing, little man. You need to protect that precious skin….🥰
But it’s so itchy Lori!
We are so-o entertained by your adventures and discoveries! You are so smart to try to follow that tracks already made! (ever practical, I have to ask…) is it possible to have a Wally coat that would be lined in something comfy?
Mom said we have fleece and down and they are so soft. But they cramp my style!
We appreciate tha you want to be free to enjoy anything and everything, but you are very loved and lucky that mom and dad really know what’s best…some of the time!
Yes!
oh how you made me smile, even though i’m sick of hearing christmas music (but that’s not your fault, or anybodys). you remind me of my dachsie who came along with us to our skiing hols high high up the Swiss mountains. snow was several feet high and when our little girl jumped from somewhere in the white fluffy stuff, she completely disappeared and took forever to crawl out of it. but she never gave up and we had several near-heart attacks because we feared she would die. she lived to a ripe age of 18 years, so snow was good for her and her eating the white stuff didn’t damage her either. but then you need to know, wally: dachsies have iron stomachs – and they eat relentless, without fear. the word digestion doesn’t exist for them.
18 years! What a life! Amazing.
