Falling Slowly

Glen Hansard and Lisa Hannigan: Falling Slowly.

Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can’t go back
The moods that take me and erase me
And I’m painted black

Well, you have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It’s time that you won

Take this sinking boat and point it home
We’ve still got time
Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice
You’ve made it now

Falling slowly sing your melody
I’ll sing it loud

  3. Oh dear David, you are so nice so nice. I know this song and if I don’t make a mistake they joined to the Eurovision song contest, aa few years ago. I loved them so much. And this song is amazing… Thank you so much, have a nice day and weekend, Love, nia

  4. A favourite song of mine from a beautiful Irish movie – loved that story! It was interesting to see the two stars of the film collecting their Oscar for the Best Original Song, they looked like they were in the wrong place! Such ordinary people with an original idea for a film, the Oscars must have been an surreal experience for them. 🙂
