Have you ever noticed how beautiful a sleeping person looks?

Not just the body but all natural things, when left undisturbed, move naturally toward beauty and wholeness. If you don’t keep repaving it every few years, an ugly parking lot will crack, grass will come up, and after 100 years or so you’ll probably have a beautiful forest. Your body is the same way. Stop “paving it over” with artificial ways of being, stop trying to be other than what you are, and it will move towards its natural state of health and beauty. It happens sooner than you think. Why else is rest so healing? Have you ever noticed how beautiful a sleeping person looks?

  1. aahh… you bet!! I’ve got loads of pix of my wife sound asleep. its a Joy to watch her in that state of total bliss!!

  2. I could stare at my kids forever when the are sleeping – especially when they were babies.
I even enjoy looking at my dog while he sleeps. I know…I’m weird.

  3. i am always so filled with love for the ones i love when i see them sleeping. this is when they have let all go, and just are, and i love them for that.

  4. My two dogs look absolutely angelic when snuggled together asleep – then they wake up.!
Think it’s the same for a lot of humans, too… Jus sayin’, David.. (wink, wink)

    1. Just Sayin’ Carolyn?? What a paradox your close is compared to the WONDERFULNESS I read here in this beautiful post titled :”Deer General Reflection” – an excerpt:

I’m free; free as the wind. I see with eyes of love for I’m free; free as the wind.

I am love, and I see through the eyes of love. So gentle and sweet is love. So gentle and sweet are we.

      Where’s the disconnect? 🙂

      1. A good question, David.
Going through some pretty heavy life changes at the moment; my posts are a reflection of my current needs. Disappointment, anger, and the like can cause one to sway off course. I’ll recover from my temporary doldrums, and a new beginning will come into play. Thank You for asking.
