A new day, another miracle. All in the eyes of a boy.

We’ve been hanging (HANGING) since lunch time Friday when Theresa rushed out of the office to the hospital.  (HE’S EARLY!)

Well, the stork has arrived.  Alexander Salvatore was born at 11:18 pm last night.  He came a bit early (6 weeks)… and a bit light (5 lbs, 7 oz) – – and he gave his Mom a tough time of it…however, everyone is just fine.  Congratulations Theresa and Dominic!  Strap in for the best ride of your life…

A new day has come
Where it was dark now there’s light
Where there was pain now there’s joy
Where there was weakness, I found my strength
All in the eyes of a boy

A new day has come

I was waiting for so long
For a miracle to come
Everyone told me to be strong
Hold on and don’t shed a tear

Through the darkness and good times
I knew I’d make it through
And the world thought I had it all
But I was waiting for you

Hush now
I see a light in the sky
Oh, it’s almost blinding me
I can’t believe
I’ve been touched by an angel with love

Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new, new sun

A new day has come
Where it was dark now there’s light
Where there was pain now there’s joy
Where there was weakness, I found my strength
All in the eyes of a boy

Hush now
I see a light in the sky
Oh, it’s almost blinding me
I can’t believe
I’ve been touched by an angel with love

Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new, new sun

A new day has
Let the rain come down and wash away my tears
Let it fill my soul and drown my fears
Let it shatter the walls for a new, new sun

A new day has come
Ohhh, a light
Hush now
I see a light in your eyes
All in the eyes of the boy

I can’t believe
I’ve been touched by an angel with love

  1. Had to reapply my eye makeup after this post. As anyone who has struggled with fertility (or not) or childbirth, there is nothing more fulfilling than seeing your baby for the first time. Congratulations to the proud and new family. May joy fill their lives together today and every day that follows.

  2. A day of blessings…mom’s ok, Alexander is ok..(Aaron was 6 weeks early and weighed in at 5lbs 11 0z – but he came out screaming and healthy, albeit tiny)…and miracles happen everyday…

      1. The day one’s baby is born is such a natural high! I still tingle just thinking about the days my two children were born.
