A blogger friend shared this with me. “Not for him,” he said. “Bit different. Bit dark and creepy. But stick with it,” he said. “Hang in there until the end,” he suggested.
LOVED IT.

Very different – there’s something so beautiful about the puppet’s movements, and the moment when the puppeteer smiles slightly was delightful. Yet there seemed to be something ominous throughout, which kinda gave me the willies..

I wonder if the thought is being conveyed as to who is pulling our strings. Very interesting.

Dark, brooding and threatening…but mesmerizing nonetheless…

Very strange. There’s definitely a dark undercurrent in this piece–I felt anxious the entire time I watched it, yet couldn’t stop. Puppets give me the heebie jeebies in general (think Chuckie, or that horrible little clown in the UPSP commercial that the family wants to send back, and don’t get me started on those little automated monkeys-yikes.) At the same time, I was enthralled by the puppeteer’s obvious mastery and bizarre as it sounds, the black feathers falling at the end made me think of “Black Swan,” which I couldn’t shake for *days*.

Spectacular cinematography. But no shading here – this is dark and threatening. Thanks for sharing Alex

Very interesting symbolism in this video. Its symbolism of who is controlling is evident throught the piece and eventually everything stops (i.e. destroyed). This made an interesting post that left me to ponder on the meaning. Thanks for sharing.
