It’s Sunday. I like Sunday nights, and this particular time always puts me in a good mood…
A transition into Monday, a waiting room.

Lol, looks like he’s saying, “Grandpa, this could’ve been an email!” So sweet! The book you’ve quoted sounds good; perhaps it is similar to Penelope Lively’s “The Photograph.” I hope so! Anyway, Sunday nights, eh? Lucky you!

Laughing. He probably said exactly that. Ms. Lozano’s book is an acquired taste. I need to look up The Photograph!

Don’t know THIS book but read everything by Penelope LIvely!!! And I HAD all her books, new and 2nd/3rd hand because I LOVED her home town Totnes as much as I loved reading her books…. Are you English? Sadly, sadly, HH brought all my books to be destroyed when we moved from France to Switzerland – for 3 yrs we couldn’t return to UK to bring the hundreds of books to charity shops so he had to get rid of them…

Ok. She sounds like a MUST read! I’m on it.

She might not be to your entire liking. But I adored her; she was always very ‘forward’ in her writing, very progressive in her thinking, but at the same time also gentle and always thoughtful.

“Ow!” about losing your books! I’m American, but every assisted-living home I worked at had a wee residents library.. 🙂

But, Olga, that’s the advantage of being a ‘Grand Parent’–You get and give oodles of love, but you have none of the responsibility!

So does Jet! He still likes to sleep partly under the covers. He’s like a hot water bottle.
