I can actually relate… not that I’m getting up early, still not having gone to bed…
Still up. Wow!
I finished work at 3 am… couldn’t just plunk myself into bed…
Poor thing – I do hope for you that this serving business will end one day soon and that you’ll find something less tireing and unkind-to-your-feet but fabulously well-paid real SOOOOOON! Sleep well and have a great rest of what is left over of this Sunday. Mine is nearly over…
No worries. I am definitely NOT going back to the golf club. And if I do stay in the serving business, I am aiming for a small restaurant with much less square footage 😉
I’m relaxing today… ALL DAY.
Good on you! I worry for your feet…. (a sufferer myself and I couldn’t serve to save my life!!!)
It’s a lot of standing and running around, to be sure.
3am. Wow.
Yep. Christmas party season… though the lights go on and the music is turned off at 1 am, there’s getting rid of the stragglers and the cleanup plus the re-setting up for the next event. Ugh.
Ugh is right.
Uh huh.
Sounds about right to me
Me too…
Love this…
exactly. that is what I do.
Me too…
Precisely 😊
Sadly, Sunday is not a ‘stay-in-bed’ day for me – but I see that the very minimal (just the painting!) lady is reading so she spends her day in the very best fashion!
She does!
sounds like a perfect Sunday to me…
Me too Jim.
Time to do nothing is often much needed these days.
Agree!
Rest our busy minds and bodies! 🏖🌈💕
Yes!
To others, thats what working on you personal projects on your computer looks like. “How can you waste your day sitting on the computer?”
So true! Guilty!
My favorite word? Farniente.
Had to look this up. Is this it?
dolce far niente, sweet idleness
Exactly!
