I enjoyed that clip. I like his view of what humour is. He relates it to family situations we can all identify with. There isn’t all that shock value of bad language, sick sex, and cruel picking on the failings of others that some comedians use. It’s all done good-naturedly. Nice post, DK.

So agree Anneli. Wholesome family comedy. We so need that. Thanks

Saw this segment this morning. I’ve always liked him….he’s just great.

He is great. And it was the first time I was made aware of him.

Never heard of the man before but he is really, really magnificently great!!! Just laugh – the best advice anybody can give. It’s my slogan too – not alway well received by the more serious peeps …. but I no longer care. Laughing about oneself is the greatest anyway. Just had a family meal and my sides hurt from laughing…. A wonderful video. Shall see if I find more of him. Thanks

Laughing at family meals. What’s better than that!

One of my all-time favorite comedians, David. Thank you! Cher xo

Could I be the only one in America who has never heard of him?

*grin* David, to be honest, the only reason I knew who he was (found out about him a year ago) is because he’s from just outside of Chicago! Otherwise, there would be you (and me)! Hahaha Cher xo
Most welcome. Now we will have to listen to see if his Illinois accent drifts in now and again. 😉

Might I add, given the fact that I haven’t known about him that long and he’s one of my all-time favorite comedians says a lot I think! 🙂

Laughing. It does.

The best comedians always show us what we need to see about ourselves. May humor continue to make us question and shift how societies around the world see themselves and others 💛

And we need a lot of that now. 😃

Sure do 💛

This is the first thing I ever saw from Sebastian Maniscalco. I’ve been laughing ever since. Well worth watching, even if you have to do it in chunks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDmxTmwC9F8

Thank you John. It’s in my cue.

I couldn’t access your link. Here’s one for U.S. viewers. So funny!

thanks for sharing this, i’ve never heard of him and love his humor!

my first exposure to him too Beth. And I’m still laughing…

I’m a first-timer for this guy, too, but he’s great. And Lord knows we could ALL use a good laugh these days…. Thx pal!!

I’m inclined to watch re-runs of comics on Netfix vs. turning on the News. So ugly, all the time.

Right there with ya, DK…

That was refreshing David–Thank you. He is so familiar to me. If my brother Dana was a comedian, this would be his style. Even looks like him as a younger man. Perhaps we are related through our Sicilian ancestry, but more likely it’s a cultural thing. Love him.

Smiling. I stayed about until 1am watching his Youtube clips and his Netflix special. Love him too!

Chase & I watched his Netflix special about a month ago and we were in tears laughing so hard. His youtube clips are awesome! I can watch him everyday.
“Just laugh”
That’s what we need to do, just laugh!! A funny man.
Exactly what we need!
Nothing I hate more than YouTube when the “uploader has not made this video available in my country”…
Video is available. See link at bottom of post and go to CBS website. Video should be playable there
My bad… I did not see that link! Thanks, DK!
What the point of me taking the time to post an alternative link if my wonderful followers won’t read ONE LINE!!!!!
I don’t have any words as I hang my head in shame… And I’ve noticed alternate links previously…. g’head, gimme sh*t!
Ok. Shame is appropriate. You’ll get this one free pass. And that’s it.
Phew! You are most generous… I’ll take it!
I do love this comedian and have seen so many of his skits. Thanks for sharing the interview!
Thanks. Where have I been. Never saw him before today’s segment.
And ironically, a friend posted one of his videos (on Italian marriages) not 10 minutes after I read your post!!

Ahhhhhhhh. I thought he was from the northeast.
He’s actually from Arlington Heights!
Wow.
The accent doesn’t match, does it? 🙂
Not at all.
Makes me wonder if he’s honed the accent!
Yes.
