Here’s Pavarotti copied from an interview somewhere:
“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”

Ah, yes. Eating. One of life’s greatest pleasures–especially if it’s good quality chocolate!
Especially THAT…
I could certainly have said that….!!!
Laughing. So me too.
Rest and good food… nothing better.
I’m with you on this Brenda.
clearly fresh pasta deserves our full attention.
So agree with that!
LOL, if he didn’t sing, he could probably have taught every university level of eating. Oh, I’d love to have seen that!
Me too!
LOL!
Indeed
The Italians have always understood….
They really have…
We went into that some days ago…. didn’t we?! 🙂
We did. And we’re going to keep repeating it until it sinks in with me. 🙂
🙂 If only I’d liked his singing a bit better. But I DO subscribe to his words about ‘breaking up to eat’ (in good company, preferably, too!!!)
And I was a fan of all of it.
And PLEASE, change the reference for the correct one: BonAppétit – and their website is called bonappetit.com
It’s the little things… sorry to let out my Swiss Teacher 😉
Laughing!
He certainly must have enjoyed his food.
Yes!
Unfortunately, it’s a multi-task thing with me.
Multi fork thing for me.
LAUGHING!
I’ll share my secret…I LOVE to eat…and have often thought, “thank goodness I’m not obese”! And, I like conjuring up my own versions of everything…from oatmeal to salmon.
Oh, I love to eat too. And thankfully genetics offer high metabolism.
Pavarotti’s girth will attest to that. God rest his most talented soul.
