Good Dawn Friends!

This is to say nothing against afternoons, evenings or even midnight.
Each has its portion of the spectacular.
But dawn — dawn is a gift.
Much is revealed about a person about his or her passion, or indifference,
to this opening of the door of day.
No one who loves dawn, and is abroad to see it,
could be a stranger to me.

  1. For me, a treasured time of day. Watching the sun rise, I feel as though the world has been refreshed, the rough edges sanded a bit, and the possibilities for writing a different ending (if desired) renewed. In short, for me dawn is the clarion call for “Yes, it’s possible–give it another try!” 🙂

    1. The time of day for good morning emails, catching up with DK (with coffee in hand, otherwise it’s impossible), the quiet as the backdrop of the day changes from night to morning. It is the perfect time of day, a welcoming silence – shared.
