It is a time of quiet joy,
the sunny morning.
When the glittery dew is on the mallow weeds,
each leaf holds a jewel which is beautiful
if not valuable.
This is no time for hurry or for bustle.
Thoughts are slow and deep and golden in the morning.”

I love that, it’s so good!! 🙂 John Steinbeck is a writer I have on my list to read. I should have read his books a few years ago, he really stands out as the kind of writer I’d like, don’t know why it’s taking me so long. And when I read something like this it’s a very good reminder – thanks for the push in the right direction David! 🙂
