Very soon – a couple more polar vortex handshakes and then we’re on our way….I heard the song of one of our spring birds yesterday and welcomed him/her with such excitement (and scared him/her off I think).
You heard what? I doubt it. More delusional sightings.
Delusional – who moi? Oh look a chicken…
LAUGHING!

Love the poem with the moving image. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Thanks Cheryl. Me too!
What a welcome sight on this below zero morning!
It is. It is.
You’re an awful tease, you know.
(I know)
and i smell the snow swirling around me. but i can dream….
FUNNY!
not soon enough
Exactly
I know this: Not yet.
🙂 Way not yet unfortunately.
I see life in that flower. Beautiful!
It is!
I blame the weather on my new book. What a winter to publish The Snowball Effect.
Your fault!
I watch the sun peek over the horizon a bit earlier each day and slip slowly from the sky a little later each night and I know that Spring is on the march….
Delusional.
July 5th is right around the corner!!!
Okay, I know, at least with the increase in daylight we can see the rain now. 🙂
Right around the corner? What corner around you navigating! 🙂
A very, very big Pacific Northwest one! 🙂
Apparently!
The trade-off is beautiful, sunny days with mostly moderate temps (highs rarely above 90) from July 5 to just around Halloween, normally anyway.
Yes, having been born in the Northwest, the weather is something special.

-35 Celsius, not taking into account windchill, today. Loving the short commute that comes with a home office.
Wow Laurie. That’s just nasty. I’ll stop complaining.
You know I’m staying out of this…..:)
I’ve almost broken this woman of her bad habit. Almost.
LOL!!
Yes. Please. I’ll take some of that!
Me too (10 F this morning)
