i’m happy to see you that you are able to blog even while dreaming.
Exactly. Dreaming it is.
Sounds perfect…though when I have days like this, I don’t need to read about spring, for spring eliminates my excuses for hibernating. Snuggle in pal.
It’s a snuggle up day. And then reality sets in. TIME TO GO TO WORK!
Damn..too bad you couldn’t tele-work today.
It was too bad!
Ah, Spring…….
Ahhhhhh, Spring.
I’m going to take a flyer here and guess that you’re more of a warm weather type? 😉 seriously, DK, spring is RIGHT around the corner,…
I am now Lori…Spring is right around the corner. Wow, optimist.
You betcha…I live on the sunny side of the street, too…. 😉
Oh, I know you do… 🙂
🙂
If I had the things described I would not need spring!
Now, that’s a good point.
5 degrees. Ugh. Well, here in Idaho we’re locked into a nasty inversion layer that blocks out all sun, looks like toxic fog, and rages on my allergies. It’s bitter cold. But we have no snow on the ground and I can see my evergreen plants doing well. Though I fantasize about living in a temperate climate, I would miss terribly the arriving signs of spring.
Great point. Spring arriving (and autumn) are my favorite seasons.
I can help you with the second one on the list: I’ve got a good book for you! 😉
Wow. Not even subtle. A sledge to the forehead. Your package came yesterday. Beautiful book cover by the way. It’s sitting next too me. I felt guilty before, now it’s running overtime.
Windchill here today is -34. I’m burrowing in and checking some things off your list.
-34. It thought you were in Atlanta. Siberia?
Iowa, Siberia, same difference.
Funny!
Delirious!
Yes!
Every winter around this time, my best friend Regina and I would write each other notes and always sign them, WIWS; Wish it was summer!
WIWS or S. Spring or Summer. LOVE THAT
How about an invitation to South Florida?
Here we go again.
🙂
I love this – especially the part about needing Costa Rica. You have me looking up airfare in between reading my favorite blogs (yours included). Seriously – one way I get through these wind chill advisories is to remember last January, when I visited the Yukon Territory to fulfill my dream of hunting the Northern Lights. (see: http://soulgatherings.wordpress.com/2013/10/08/wow-2/). Forty degrees below zero Fahrenheit was a daily occurrence; my eyelashes had icicles on them. It was a wonderful adventure. But like I said – Costa Rica sounds wonderful!
Ahhhh, Costa Rica. I’m drifting back there again. And btw, thank you for pointing me to your post. Amazing.
Yes, yes, yes. Let’s hear it for spring!!!
That’s right!
Wherefore art thou spring?
That’s right! Where?!
[…] some difficult news on Wednesday. Not what I wanted to hear. And then yesterday, I read this post 5º F: I need. (Just as an aside, that is a seriously cool blog. Go look around a little. You might like it. I […]
