Don’t edit your ugly out of your bio

Llama on Farm Funny Teeth

“Don’t google your name. Ever.
Don’t “search” for yourself
on anything that glows in the dark.
Don’t let your beauty
be something anyone can turn off.
Don’t edit your ugly out of your bio.
Let your light come from the fire.
Let your pain be the spark,
but not the timber.
Remember, you didn’t come here
to write your heart out.
You came to write it in.”

  1. Terrific – as everyone before me as said..Can’t edit out that ugly – it’s just too much a part of who I am. And the picture? Kind of cute in a not-too-cute-way, you know? 😉

  2. Reblogged this on theseeker and commented:
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
    “Remember, you didn’t come here
    to write your heart out.
You came to write it in.”

  3. We have to accept our whole selves and live in our own skin but we can control that there are fewer and fewer things of which to be ashamed as we gain practice living.
