32F yesterday with chilling winds. Spring can show up any time so we can frolic around like Dairy Cows in Holland. I’ve been around cows. I’ve never seen this before. Here’s 30 seconds of happy (very) wrapped in U2’s “It’s a Beautiful Day.”

I too have been around cows, and these are just the most exuberant bovines I have ever seen!! Maybe they were really pumping that song through some loudspeakers to get them frolicking? 😉 Happy Friday David.

Giggling–that is some UNGAINLY joy they got going on there! Love it. And for the record, I, too, grew up around cattle and I have never seen such an exhibition of unbridled happiness. Those folks in California with the cow commercials need to know about these bouncing bovines, that’s what I’m thinking…. 😉

I have seen a few videos where cows let out of their winter barns onto green pasture go nuts in joy.

I didn’t know cows could move like that. 99% of the time they stand like dull creatures and chew.

Just like me…dull and chew.

Ha ha. Well, as long as you can still do the happy dance, you’ll be okay.

Awww, look at those happy cows. I love cows (and I’m vegetarian, remember, so it all fits)…and this reminds me of when I used to drive my young son the long way to his school…near the hills where we could see cows. My poor teenage son, he was so happy when he got his driver’s license and could drive himself…and not the long way! He’ll remember me for sure with my saying things like, “Look at that cow! It’s happy, I can just tell!” or “Look at that cow lying down and resting in the sunshine!” or even “Poor cow!! Having to just stand there in the rain…” I’ve threatened to start a blog titled Clouds and Cows ~ because I noticed both all the time on those drives to school in the morning ~ beautiful cows and beautiful clouds. Yeah, I already know…a bit nuts here. 🙂 Anyway, I Ioved that video of those happy cows.

Happy cows = happy life! Growing up on a farm in rural Sask, I can tell you that cows will dance and jump around like that – it’s great fun to watch. They are playful and delightful creatures … Dad always named his favorites “Lady” and “Belle” and his least favorites “Bossy” and “her.” HA HA!!
Cheers
