Yep – that’s it. Speed is one of the benefits of technology – you make ’em, you fix ’em, in the click of a key.
Now it just matters how much guilt you want to assume… 🙂

@ David. Great post. The most recent one I almost had an anurism because I thought I just mass e-mailed a message out to my entire mail list and it was the wrong message. My heart was racing, I was sweating, until I checked messages sent and re-read the message and went “WHEW” it was was the right message. That would have been an epic fail because it was “Memorial Day” and for the life of me when I hit submit I had a nightmare of a thought and thought “OMG, did I just type memorial or veterans day?”, then I thought “what day is it, is it memorial or veterans day?” Needless to say I had wrote and sent the correct message. That would have been a huge typo/mistake.

Laughing. I’ve been there. I inadvertently performance review summary for 1 individual to the entire business. I was soaked in sweat and panic. Been there Terry. And certainly have done that. 🙂

Oh yea, I feel like one of those cats when u text the wrong person, said the wrong thing in an email and left the wrong voicemail. What a feeling!

Yes, wonderful jolt of adrenaline, right?

Laughing! I’ve done that way too many times, as well as everything mentioned in all the comments above (including a duplicate reply on one of your posts, I believe!). Way too easy to hit buttons.
And the cats are great!

Smiling. Me too. Many times.

Hahaha! That’s exactly right… 🙂

Hilarious! My dog does this on our hardwood floors so it’s extra funny, but that feeling of, “oh no…’ is captured perfectly here! 🙂

Laughing. All of us have our own horror stories…

You too? Wow…you are so precise…wouldn’t have guessed it.

Happens to me on the rare occasion, when I rush. When I “publish” it is too late as it emails to everyone.

Yep. Stand by me pal. Stand by me.

David,
Yes this is a problem for sure, we are all human and make mistakes. Thank GOD everyone understands and has empathy for each of us. Congratulations on another award!

Love the cats, and no matter how many times I proof read the night before, it happens. Sometimes I think someone else must do this to my posts I couldn’t have not seen that mistake. But alas, it’s me 🙂

Funny Tina. I’m with you. I read them twice and seem to miss the most obvious typos.

Dave, This is really a “He He He” moment for me. How many times have I done this and will not be surprised if i keep on repeating it in the future. I am like those kitten – scrambling and sliding as I try to stop the message after hitting the send button.

Catching up on some of your posts. All amazing, of course! This one really resonated because I, too, always seem to catch typos AFTER I’ve published. It happened again, today. Oh well…
