Or if you ignore them…..
I never thought about the ignoring part…yet you have a point…
Love this image (well, hate it actually, as it gives me the heeby jeebies). It captures it exactly. I often think of Conflict as being like a seed: ignore it and it turns into an Oak tree. Better to nip it out when it is a seedling.
Yes Michael. That’s it. Don’t let is be all-consuming.
So true. It is like a ‘monkey on your back.’ You need to get rid of it or it will weigh you down.
Yes, that’s exactly it.
But if you tackle them head on they won’t consume you. I had a problem with my trip scheduled for Thursday that was causing me a lot of trouble. With much persistence and prayer it has been resolved. God is good! Love your post. It is a good example of what not to do.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thanks Francine. You are right. Need to tackle them head on (if that is possible) or you need to be self-compassionate and move on.
Love this. So well expressed.
Isn’t it!
I wish you wouldn’t take pictures of me and then surprise me with them.
I read your comment last night. Laughed then. Still laughing now.
That makes me happy
Totally agree. As they say, “What you focus on…good or bad grows!!”
That’s it Bro.
Creepy. I’m sure I’ll have nightmares tonight.
It is a bit creepy. I get it. But a powerful visual nonetheless. I had no intention of breeding nightmares!
Great illustration David, the more we pay attention to them the bigger they get even when they don’t really 😉
Thanks Tina. This artist captures it. Picture worth a thousand words.
I remember that feeling from my younger years before I learned to deal with problems in a sensible way.
There you go again. Showing us up with your extraordinarily high EQ.
Duh… Huh?…
Look for the good, find the good. Look for the bad, find the bad. It’s all a case of where are you looking. Enjoy, T
That’s it issue. Easy to see and to say. Tough to execute.
Gee thanks…as if my Monday was not already enough. Sweet dreams to you too..
😉
FUNNY!
A perfect way to explain something through a photo because our sub-conscious mind works on what it sees. I adore it !
Leave it to Ms. Clinical to dissect the imagery! And you’ll laugh, I figured you’d find some way to link it to “my” psychoses. My prayers worked. You were kind.
(Laughing) :p I hope you don’t mind my words. Actually my EQ level is pretty good =)
Oh I have not doubt about your EQ level. None whatsoever! 🙂
A remarkably graphic illustration of what happens when one “empowers” the bad crap that will no doubt haunt me for weeks–thx David! 😉
Yes. Oh no, I have sent darkness through my blogs to my friends. Shame on me!
I’ve been there and that is exactly what it feels like! Great reminder to live and let live.
We all have Laurie. We all have.
Reblogged this on photographyofnia.
Thanks for sharing Nia.
David, I agree with your visual editorial and the comments made that add on to the process of dealing poorly with our problems. Unless we recognize them, address them, and find support in dealing with them, they seem like mountains we are unable to climb or move.
Thank you for food for thought and a great conversational catalyst.
Take care,
Ivon
Yes, Ivon. Need to address them (work them) or come to peace with them. I’m with you. Thanks for dropping by. Dave
This is great! Thanks for passing it on, and also for giving the credits, a show of professionalism! z
Thank you
Horribly true.
I spitting more darkness on yet another friend, this one from the UK. 🙂
