  3. I can hear the gentle snuffling sounds from here. I’m betting his grandpa (yep, that’s right, I said it) is gonna be joining him for an afternoon nap at some point. Just sayin’….

  10. Looks just like my son’s dog, Boba, except for the weather. I hate to rub it in, but it’s 78 and sunny in Austin.

  11. Oh-h Sully! Gave me a genuine laugh out loud! He’s so adorable and pet-able, but maybe not a very engaging companion (zzz), you might need one more athletic.
    It’s very cold, and a blizzard is threatening, but I decided that worse than being cold would be to run out of foods I’d like to cook and bake.

          1. that’s so funny. My little one, about 8 months sleeps under the covers with me. I’ve never had a dog to that. i’ve also mostly had larger dogs. He’s a hot water bottle. Looks like Sully would be too. Kid’s, daughter on vacation?

    2. That’s what I ALWAYS think of him – I’d have called him Churchill…. but then I wouldn’t own a French bulldog – they seem to be THE pet thing in the US, and I’ve seen too many in France (mostly owned by ex pats, funnily).

        1. ALL dogs are basically wonderful…. but ‘my’ choice would be a less ‘fancy’ dog (and less slobbering too), I like the ones with plenty of character and their own mind. But PLEASE, NO SLANDER, I SAID IT WAS MY PERSONAL OPINION.

        2. 😉 Well, that’s what we call them, in Europe. I don’t know if they have ANYTHING to do with France or if it was the chosen pet of the French at a certain time but they sure have taken over the world in a storm.
          Maybe you cd ask Dave for a copy of his passport?! 🙂

        3. Or maybe one wouldn’t be allowed to give a French Bulldog the name of an English Prime Minister. Or the dog would refuse to listen to an English name….. the list of fun is endless at this point!
