Lightly Child, Lightly.

Dissolve.

A moment of quiet.

The dust settles.

  1. Have you reflected on how Tho Cove and your ritual has changed you? I asked my self if you were getting bored, probably because I don’t have any place so awesome to motivate me to go to everyday, rain or shine. I can tell how much passion you have for photography and one great thing to come from the pandemic is the opportunity to take those first photos.

    1. Thoughtful question Melinda. Yesterday morning was one of those mornings. Overcast. To start. “Can I keep this up?” “Purpose?” “Sleeping another hour would be wonderful.” And then something amazing shows up to see, and I’m so glad I’m there.

      1. One thing that I’ve observed or my perception is you have been able to life truly in the moment which is near impossible to do. the real question will be how you will continue to keep up this commitment and love once you start to travel again. Sounds to me like you’ll be taking your camera or a less expensive camera on the road and looking for more REAL moments in each day. I think you’re better off for being more in touch with nature and just what’s going on around you.

  2. Love this, pal. I see this beautiful call and response relationship between you and the cove. Its unwavering presence seems to be a real muse for you, and we all benefit.

  3. a beautiful vista and a moment of silence – always a welcome companion…//thanks for the introduction to Wallace Stegner…

  4. Such a tranquil, slow opening to the day.

It kind of makes me think of your heart and soul opening to reveal their natural beauty as you have continued on with your morning walks and photos.
