  1. Oh, I LOVE the Rothko quote. I confess being one to cry in front of such divine beauty.

  10. Seeing the film may’ve ruined the painting for me! However, I’d have never looked at the painting, if not for the film. When that happens, I realize all over again that I never go deep enough. Imagine going into debt over precious gems for a painting to last the ages… did he know, I wonder.
