I take pictures, not for a living, but for reasons that I’m not quite sure of yet.

in an attempt to hold onto that moment. like holding water in your hands.
Cool clean water. Yes.
Felt my shoulders drop a few inches gazing at this image… 😁 Have a great day, DK.
Yes. Exactly how I felt looking at this image.

… because pictures immortalize the reality!!
… and sometimes reality can kill the dream and hope!
It can. Let’s hold back that reality from a moment and dream!
🙂
They do!
Yes…
Yesterday I bought something and they said they can engrave it. I’m not a names or dates person, and sometimes there are no names or dates!
I got it engraved with one word, “Lightly”, inspired by this Huxley quote 🙏
What did you buy? 😉
I have inscribed it in my agenda but that – of course – would mean that I open it often on the front page!
Well now, that’s SOMETHING!
Such deep comments already!
I take photos because – although you only see well with your heart, I also want to imprint What I See deeply in my brain, heart, being…. HH always complains that I should ‘only’ take photos with my eyes but that is because he’s mad at me for getting slow and slower on our walks!!!
Funny! Tell HH to slow down!
He is 30cm taller than me! And he has REALLY long legs! And he has a lot of patience with OTHERS…. 🙂
Ha!
I take pictures, I know not why. But I feel compelled to. I think it is as Beth said – to hold onto that moment, to share it, to look back on it, to record it…
This picture is so very lovely and relaxing.
Yes. Yes. And I had same reaction on photo. Swept away.
I know that feeling. I think I take pictures to try to hang onto beautiful moments. Impossible, but luckily there are always more beautiful moments ahead.
Yes…and so blessed to have so many.
I love this post!
Me too Marian!
