And we want to live right where black oaks lived,
Once very quietly and still…
Because we are imperfect and love so
Deeply we will never have enough days,
We need the gift of starting over, beginning
Again: just this constant good, this
Saving hope.

The gift of starting over in a new week. Clean slate, new chance to make a difference somewhere, somehow, to someone. My saving hope….
Yes….that’s it Lori. Have a great week.
You, too, my friend…
Thank you, so important (to me right now)… “Again: just this constant good, this
Saving hope”
and, again, and again…
Yes, for many of us I’m afraid Valerie.
yes, always a measure of hope –

It’s soothing for a hurting soul!!
Love the book title, Because We Spill Not Only Milk!
And we’re so imperfect. But this post is ❤

[…] thank you, David Kanigan […]
HH and I just sent off a long mail thanking our local choral ensemble to which we belong(ed) up to now, saying how much we loved it and that it was ‘perfect in its imperfection’…. nice to be in synch with you David! Take that as a compliment.
Also, yesterday evening, had visitor with whom had very, very long discussion on the importance of being thankful for the daily ‘gifts’ we get from Mother Nature, the air stirring lightly the leaves on the trees in our garden, even the air that travelled maybe the globe, came from the (Wednesday’s Camel Caleb’s) desert…. stuff like that!
Every day we are permitted to start over, every week is a new chance and every day we can only hope that many, many things get better too!
We are so synched up Friend.
