Loved this song when Don McLean first sang it, love it again….James Blake’s voice has such great expression – I could feel every painful, beautiful word.

Beautiful rendition of such a great song. Thanks for sharing and the reminder: Don McLean came to my town in NJ forever ago when i was Editor of our High School newspaper, so i got to interview him during the height of ‘American Pie’ frenzy !!. A lifelong musical memory.
