Q: This never gets old to you?
Keith Richards: No. No. It gets more interesting actually. The weird thing is that every time I play “Satisfaction”, I’m finding new ways, just a little lick here and a little lick there, and I wish we would have put that on the record, but the fact is that the way things go, you wrote songs and five days later you’ve recorded it. You barely know the thing. And then you take it on the road for 50 years and I’m starting to get the hang of it now.
Need a fix, find The Rolling Stones music video here: “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction“
such a metaphor for life.
Isn’t it though!
And so it is with Life,
Yes…
And so it is, and so it goes….
Terrific!
Isn’t it though?!?!?
… and a lesson illustrating that healthy living might be a bit over rated. Go buy a guitar instead of running this Saturday.
Laughing. If I had a Lick of his talent, I would do that. A lick.
LOL! 🙂
Priceless, just priceless
Priceless
He’s getting it down – and I hope we are too..
We are. We are.
Oh, how we all wish we had some of that “stuff” on our personal record. 💖 Maybe the most recognized guitar riff of all time…I remember exactly where I was, what I was doing when I heard it. There was a cherry fountain Coke involved. Sweet. Never gets old.
It never does get old Van. Let it keep rolling. 👍
Such a refreshing perspective and a good metaphor for living. Don’t think, “I’m getting older,” think “I’m discovering new licks, nuanced approaches I hadn’t considered.” Love it!!
Laughing. Bit soft in the head from all that hard livin’ but clear headed enough to see another better lick. Now there’s some thing.
Yes, I *do* think all those drugs have severed a few synapsises, and yet…
Laughing…. “yet”!
