How wonderful it is
to follow a thought quietly
to its logical end.
I have done this a few times.
But mostly I just stand in the dark field,
in the middle of the world, breathing
in and out. Life so far doesn’t have any other name
but breath and light, wind and rain.

If it weren’t for you, David, I would almost never read poetry. But I so enjoy it. Thanks.

Smiling. Lynne, thank you. And I couldn’t begin to explain where poetry has come from for me and why it has touched me so in the past 2-3 years. I appreciate that you enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by.

Funny, just sent HH on his way to CH, after I chauffeured him back to our house some 120km. We had literally that exact discussion. Outside hurricane strong winds. Inside the car soft music and a quiet happy discussion on thoughts we have…. I only wish I cd express myself like Mary Oliver.
2 days ago a surprisingly intimate discussion with my hairsmith – the last time in France. She, deeply stressed and I telling her about ‘breathing’…
