Oh, the coming-out-of-nowhere moment
when, nothing
happens
no what-have-I-to-do-today-list
maybe half a moment
the rush of traffic stops.
The whir of I should be, I should be, I should be
slows to silence,
the white cotton curtains hanging still.

Looks like a really long and windy day. But hopefully there were a few of these Moments.
There were Helen, there were.
I love those moments.
and i love those days/moments.
I love that poem so much and what a perfect image to pair it with.
I like this a lot…both poem and image which fit so perfectly together…each brings peace to my soul.
Oh! I just clicked on the image which took me to the original in Flickr. I did not see the man in the image above, nor did I see that it’s a torn stage curtain. It’s powerful…a story of past theatre glory and present tatters and possible endings, but also possible change. For right now, there is a moment.
Hi Mona. Thanks. I loved it all too. I was moved…
