And then there are the times
when I close my eyes and just sit there,
with the breeze blowing on my face,
and the light inside the air,
all around me and just beyond my eyes,
and the world all red,
a beautiful red inside my eyes,
with the sun shining on me and my eyes.

…and there are times when the icicles behind my eyes grow to the size of stalagtites and I wonder if things will be different when I pry my eyes open. 5 degrees – I guess not. 😉
NOT, Yet.
And if it’s possible, the temperature has now gone down to 7 F.
And all I see is white……
“To-morrow and to-morrow and to-morrow. Creeps this petty pace from day to day…”
I love the sun—the warmth on my skin, the red-orange balls behind my eyeballs–all of it.
That’s it. Me too.
Amazing how restorative those rays can be…
You don’t want to know …

Can it be far off?

What can I say? Probably best just to hope the weather warms up for you all 🙂

Disqualified to comment.
