Wow…I’m not so intrepid. More coffee…
hey Mimi–I am up too and it is now 5:27–come on over for a coffee–it is going up to 29 degrees today–utterly balmy!
Good morning LouAnn!!! We’re in for a warm spell too – well, and some snow..I’d love to pop over for coffee!!
we are supposed to get some snow too–then it is getting cold again–how do you take your coffee – (David you are invited too–but you two must come early–I have an all day poetry and writing workshop today and I am quite excited)
I hope you’ve had a great day at your workshop! ‘See you tomorrow morning’ !
Some people are crazy–I am not that crazy–almost, but………….
Ah, come on LouAnn. Give it a shot.
Thank you. I may never feel warm again. Ever. 😀
Funny!

This is how we [well, some of us] roll in the Midwest…
When you get lemons…….
I am SO in!!
Um… no. All I could think of is “how long till the Coast Guard has to do a rescue?” MJ
He’d be right there, waiting to pull you out!
Takes a hardy soul to get out in one of the great lakes in the winter. I grew up in Northern Minnesota on the shores of Lake Superior and have had my fill of harsh, cold winters.
And I’m about full up with it too Maralee.
Cool.
amazing. -ly freezing just looking at this )
Gorgeous still shot.. I admire his pioneering quest for the experience among the beauty. He is Embracing Life in Elements I don’t want to physically, be in.. Challenge is good, though. I wonder if, Karon as a former Coast Guard rescue swimmer – if he experienced any time in the Pacific of the Oregon Coast – that might explain his sense of adventure. The training the men and women of the Coast Guard participate in is so rigorous. If their training is in Oregon then they have the most challenging conditions from what I’ve heard in the entire Coast Guard. I thank them for their service..
It is a gorgeous still shot Christie. And yes, we are all grateful for their service.
