  8. Takes a hardy soul to get out in one of the great lakes in the winter. I grew up in Northern Minnesota on the shores of Lake Superior and have had my fill of harsh, cold winters.

    Gorgeous still shot.. I admire his pioneering quest for the experience among the beauty. He is Embracing Life in Elements I don’t want to physically, be in.. Challenge is good, though. I wonder if, Karon as a former Coast Guard rescue swimmer – if he experienced any time in the Pacific of the Oregon Coast – that might explain his sense of adventure. The training the men and women of the Coast Guard participate in is so rigorous. If their training is in Oregon then they have the most challenging conditions from what I’ve heard in the entire Coast Guard. I thank them for their service..
