Love this! Great post! I’m in snow sick Boston and that poem is so refreshing. Can’t wait.
Jeanne
Laughing. Thank you Jeanne. It is so brutally cold today, I needed a respite.
I thought you might enjoy this: http://climateadaptation.tumblr.com/post/111428725484/boston-snow-2015
Don’t miss the photo quip on bottom.
Feel like you are tempting an addict here? 🙂
Laughing. You are freakishly and compulsively addicted. Not just a mild form.
I feel too dear David, you expressed so nicely. I loved it. Thank you, have a nice day and weekend, love, nia
Thank you Nia. You too…
I really like your alternate reality – until stepped outside to walk the dogs… 😉
I haven’t stepped out yet. Just nasty.
‘Nasty’ sums it up well..also frigid, painfully cold, inhospitable for man or animal (unless one is from the tundra) and too far below zero…
Yes. There was a story two nights ago on Nightly News. On animals left outside. Couldn’t bear to watch.
The owners should be left outside and the animals brought into the warmth..
Couldn’t agree more.
Wouldn’t it be nice….? I have plans for this later.
In your mind?
Dam, I wanted to incorporate it into my post about the oyster roast but forgot. You created a great visualization….
Smiling. Thanks.
Plan B sounds perfect!
I’m heading there in March …. can’t wait!
Lucky you!
Oooh, I’m going there, too. Sounds a heck of a lot better than reality! Brrrr…
You should have never left Florida. Who leaves Florida for New York, it’s supposed to be the other way around.
Valid point!
Not to burst your bubble, David, but I am looking at the beach from my window and the thermometer reads 44 degrees. Not exactly beach weather. Not that I’m complaining, mind you……..😀
3 F right now. I would bask in 44 F.
yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss…………………
Lovely rendition of a perfect vacation day, David. It will come….I’m not complaining, but also not going to the beach today. Just need to check on the birds in the salt marsh after near freezing temps and strong winds overnight.
Thanks Tiny. Hope the creatures are ok.
Sounds perfect.
Don’t know which sentence I like best…
Thank you for taking us there. 🙂
Thank you Catherine.
Thank you for this amazing virtual tour through your mind’s alternate (and thoroughly superior) reality!
Thank you Bonnie.
Set out another pool chair. I’m on my way.
Plenty of chairs Sandy…
Nice alternate reality, David. Why don’t y’all come on over to reality??? Sunny and warm here…and, I know, I know, we don’t have water like all of my freezing friends. This summer, I’ll be writing my own alternate reality, and it will have running water in it.
Awwww, what a tease Carol. We’re hearty souls, we’re going to grind it out until Spring. Not a bad day today @ 34 F. Look forward to reading about your dust bunnies this summer.
