Such majestic creatures! I love it when they flare their ears and trumpet–attention must be paid! As a result of an earlier post you did, I recently read Lawrence Anthony’s book, “The Elephant Whisperer.” A wonderful, heartwarming, sometimes sad, tale–I recommend it! 🙂

WLS – there was a fantastic special on PBS/uk last week – which I have to admit to watching twice. A documentary about African elephants, their life cycle..more smiles and awe than tears, but yes tears too..

It is amazing!! I don’t watch a lot of tv, but the UK PBS station is a delight. And though I always think of myself as more francophile, there’s nothing like British humor, espionage and documentaries. Or maybe it’s just the accent. 😉
