Mercury is the smallest and closest to the Sun of the eight planets in the Solar System, with an orbital period of about 88 Earth days. Mercury does not experience seasons in the same way as most other planets, such as the Earth. It is locked so it rotates in a way that is unique in the Solar System. As seen from the Sun, in a frame of reference that rotates with the orbital motion, it appears to rotate only once every two Mercurian years. An observer on Mercury would therefore see only one day every two years. (Source: Wiki)

Haha that is a great quote. And this is very interesting, I had no idea that Mercury rotated around the sun in this way!
Thanks. Nor did I.
Lol,
🙂
Talk about a day that won’t end…I hope they have some employment laws up there.
Perhaps everyone just loves their work up there. Working in bliss. No need for employment laws.
Even so…you still need a break after a certain number of hours – for effectiveness and efficiency – if not for renewal and all that other good stuff. I wish we could ask Freddy Mercury – he’d know.
I’m sorry – that was a real groaner.
And you were doing so well. GROAAAAANNNN
I feel it’s my responsibility to add a little eye-rolling to your morning.
And you are magnificent at it!
And you are magnificent at it!
You’re so kind (eye rolling over here)
Laughing now.
Redemption. I can go to the gym now.
Very accurate.

A day is a day but I’d sooner stay on earth.
I’m with you Perpetua…
No Ice Age up there!
Not close!
That’s all good if it’s a good day. But – what if it’s not? Eeek!
Laughing. Yes, as someone stated below, not Heaven but certainly close to Hell.
Is that Mercury or Hell? haha
Good one!
Haha. One of the best quote I have ever read 🙂
I love this pic and comment! I think I will reblog! (Next Monday, of course…)
🙂 Reblog Away! Enjoy…Have a great week Claudia
