It’s an Amazing Grace feeling-kind-of-morning. Here’s Rodney Britt and friends with 53-second clip, which I wished kept going and going.
And from a simple, spiritual, soulful version – – we move to the soul stirring pipes. Amazing Grace hits a crescendo after 4:00 minutes. Good Sunday morning.

One has to believe that this music is heard in heaven. I have seen interviews with the conductor – some of his peers find him too ‘outside the envelope’ during his performances – I think he is great and inspired (I’m also not a conductor)..And the first clip? That voice gave me chills down to my toes that ricocheted back up my back.

Same reaction on this first clip. As to the second, I’ve never heard him before – but I was certainly inspired. So, I’m with you (again) Mimi.

I love both versions. I am use to hearing the first version in my church and it is always very moving to the point of tears.

WOW to the first one – on my 3rd listen already (and you know I don’t do that!). What a voice(s)! One verse is so not enough – just one more replay then I’ll go on to the 2nd …

Glad that you enjoyed it, David. It always startles me a bit to hear such a high pitched, crystalline voice emanating from such a big guy, but nevertheless I find Neville’s voice amazing….

I love that song; I’ve never heard a version I didn’t love. The conductor is Andre Rieu. I’ve seen many of his concerts through my public television station.

Me too as to the song. I’m going to have to check out more of his work on youtube.
