It’s an Amazing Grace feeling-kind-of-morning. Here’s Rodney Britt and friends with 53-second clip, which I wished kept going and going.
And from a simple, spiritual, soulful version – – we move to the soul stirring pipes. Amazing Grace hits a crescendo after 4:00 minutes. Good Sunday morning.

One has to believe that this music is heard in heaven. I have seen interviews with the conductor – some of his peers find him too ‘outside the envelope’ during his performances – I think he is great and inspired (I’m also not a conductor)..And the first clip? That voice gave me chills down to my toes that ricocheted back up my back.
Same reaction on this first clip. As to the second, I’ve never heard him before – but I was certainly inspired. So, I’m with you (again) Mimi.
What amazing grace… I wished the same with you for the first one dear David, and of course it was amazing touches of the music… I love this Amazing Grace… Thank you for this beautiful morning gift. Blessing and Happiness, love, nia
Thank you Nia. These are amazing clips…have a great day.

Thank you, @davidkanigan, for sharing this…
Thanks for sharing Todd.
I love both versions. I am use to hearing the first version in my church and it is always very moving to the point of tears.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Me too Francine. And if you are used to hearing the first version every Sunday, you are blessed.
One of my favorites!
We never tire of the classics…
WOW to the first one – on my 3rd listen already (and you know I don’t do that!). What a voice(s)! One verse is so not enough – just one more replay then I’ll go on to the 2nd …
:). I won’t tell you how many times Mr. Obsessive listened to it…
I can guess…
The 2nd one ain’t too shabby either! SO MUCH BETTER than the version in church this morning (sigh…)
Laughing. BUT, your church can at a much lesser cost and ceremony. 🙂

Two very different – and equally amazing – versions of Amazing Grace. Enjoy!
Thanks for sharing LaDona.
This is one of my favorite hymns, and I never tire of hearing new versions. A personal favorite is Aaron Neville’s rendition, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F87AZ40EwQ. Gives my goosebumps goosebumps…. 😉
I’ve never heard Neville’s rendition, it is amazing. Thanks for sharing Lori.
Glad that you enjoyed it, David. It always startles me a bit to hear such a high pitched, crystalline voice emanating from such a big guy, but nevertheless I find Neville’s voice amazing….
He is Lori, so unique and soothing.
Check out his CD “Warm Your Heart.” It’s an oldie, but a goodie. His Ave Maria will make you weep….
will do, thanks Lori
Great videos. Would have never guessed seeing Rodney that would be his voice…amazing. Love bags pipes!
Yes, you just don’t expect it and when he opens, you wonder…awesome.
I love that song; I’ve never heard a version I didn’t love. The conductor is Andre Rieu. I’ve seen many of his concerts through my public television station.
Me too as to the song. I’m going to have to check out more of his work on youtube.
Wow!! I love the bass voice!!
Me too!
