1 minute clip. I’m confident that this clip, paired with Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend“, will put you in the right frame of mind to kick off your day.
YOU’RE MY BEST FRIEND
Ooh you make me live
Whatever this world can give to me
It’s you you’re all I see
Ooh you make me live now honey
Ooh you make me liveOoh you’re the best friend that I ever had
I’ve been with you such a long time
You’re my sunshine and I want you to know
That my feelings are true
I really love you
Oh you’re my best friendOoh you make me live
Ooh I’ve been wandering round
But I still come back to you
In rain or shine
You’ve stood by me girl
I’m happy at home
You’re my best friendOoh you make me live
Whenever this world is cruel to me
I got you to help me forgive
Ooh you make me live now honey
Ooh you make me liveYou’re the first one
When things turn out bad
You know I’ll never be lonely
You’re my only one
And I love the things
I really love the things that you do
You’re my best friendOoh you make me live
I’m happy at home
You’re my best friend
Oh you’re my best friend
Ooh you make me live
You you’re my best friend

Ohmagosh, that is precious!! What a GOOD dog (with the patience of Job is seems to me!) and please! Who in his right mind can pass by a puddle without running through it once, twice, thrice and more?! You’re right, David, I’m starting my day with a smile…. Thank you! 🙂
On point Lori. I’ve watched and listened to the clip 5x this morning. Then moved across to Youtube to get Queen’s full play of You’re my best friend. http://youtu.be/c2JSUXaY-tw. Have a good day…
Ok, that’s what I get for hitting send without seeing what damage autocorrect hath wrought! That would be *puddle*, not “outdoes”! :-/
I thought it was another one of your fancy word uses that flew right over my head. I’ve corrected it to reduce your anxiety.
Thx for indulging me, David, you’re a real “piece of bread” as my grandmother would say (and this is a *good* thing BTW 😉 )
The happiest way to start the day..and I don’t mind having the image and the song repeat in my head all day (which they will).
Yes, it certainly beats the other stuff clanking around in there.
amen
Life is like that puddle…we can avoid it, we can step in it accidentally and curse the outcome or we can welcome it as an opportunity and rejoice in encountering it….just sayin’…. Take five minutes today to be as carefree as that young man.
On point Ray. On point.
Big smile.
Me too.
I am smiling! Helped erase the feeling of stepping in cat vomit like I did first thing this morning. Going back to watch one more time … ok, maybe twice.
Cat vomit. Wow. Now you have managed to completely wipe out the good feelings washing over me. 🙂
64secs of smiles
Me too Scott. Me too.
Too gorgeous for words, David. 🙂
Loved it too Sylvia. Terrific little clip.
That was very cute and brought back memories of my son Jon who could never pass up a puddle! Happy Monday David!
I immediately thought of my childhood and that of Eric when he was younger. What precious memories.
yep they sure are, we are so lucky to have them 🙂
How many parents had sons/daughters, that could not leave a puddle alone – all my four enjoyed every puddle they met!!! Good one David!!
🙂 I think we all did Verna…
Love, love, love!!!

LoL…with 80 degree weather last week, Luke happened to find a puddle out of no where and jumped right in!! Kids.
Funny. Puddles are magnets to kids.
This is a wonderful post, thank you for sharing – that makes my day 🙂
Great!
Oh my gosh…i could watch that 100x and never tire of it! Precious!! Thanks for the mid-afternoon smile David! 😀
Me too. It’s a wonderful clip Bonnie.
That is a wonderful video. It reminds me of little explorations my kids had at that age. Thanks for a good laugh and brinning back some good memories.
Thanks Mark. Me too on the reminder.
Thank you for starting my day off right!
Thank you. I’ve come back to this clip several times, leaving it feeling the same way. It’s wonderful.
Awwwwwwwwwwwww i am melting……….
🙂
I was unsure of the claim that small children have a delight of splashing in puddles until I saw this. I loved the priorities of the child to leave the dog for a few moments for the serious business of having fun, then getting back to taking the dog for a walk later on.
Yes, and you can see the little guy think about it, put the leash gently down, and then get to business of splashing in the puddle. Wonderful short clip.
This started off my 2013! Wonderful. The dogs looks like a sharpei lab mix. We have a girl, Bella, who is a sharpei rottie mix and has a similar face and those little ear. What a wonderful clip. Thank you and a very Happy New Year. Paulette
Thank you Paulette. Happy New Year to you too!
