Walked by this box at Cove Island Park, what, 100x? 200x? 500x? Had never seen it before. Today, I noticed.

Inspired by: “By hook or by crook, I hope that you will possess yourselves of money enough to travel and to idle, to contemplate the future or the past of the world, to dream over books and loiter at street corners and let the line of thought dip deep into the stream.” – Virginia Woolf, A Room of One’s Own (Thank you Beth @ Alive on All Channels)
- Post Title & Inspiration: Aldous Huxley: “It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them.”
I wish there were many in my town as the library still has limited hours.

Yes NH folks can not go to VT CT or NJ or NY I think 😦 so many students want to come home for the holidays but so not like our normal festivities. Stay safe.

I’ve seen a few in and around Chicago; they are such a delight, as is the one you shared with us in this post. Thank you, David! Cher xo
P.S. I wonder how tiny the library cards are? *okay, throwback and not that funny, but I tried!* 😉 Cher xo

They’re books!! You love books!! The little library is for anyone’s perusal — just bring a book with you next time to trade out for the one you borrow, in case you find something marvelous!

This bench is my favourite of the morning’s slide show… And isn’t it amazing how we can walk by something hundreds of times and not see it and then one day, there it is. How long has that been there?
I love these little “libraries”.

we have one in my neighborhood and I’m on a mission to put some good books in there – the ones there now are truly books no one wants. Great picture! MJ
