Felt the same. So grateful that this organization, these people, this family all made this happen.

WMS. So glad that sweet little dog found the love and security she (and every animal) deserve. There are so many in need…

Yes, sad story when you think about what’s happening to abandoned animals.

One of the gifts of working for a non-profit is to experience first hand people’s generosity. Not every rich person is selfish and greedy. There’s a lot of money out there going to causes like this one. Although it’s doubtful that every story can have a happy ending, because of our cultural generosity, more do.
Sadly, there are many dogs like this in Mexico. Another group that does great work down there out of the Bay Area is Compassion Without Borders–www.cwob.org

It’s hard to understand how the original owners could watch such suffering…but thank goodness for the kindness and compassion of wonderful people in this world. No living being should have to suffer in such a way. Such a sweet and beautiful dog.

Yes (and I try to block out the millions of others that are suffering)

Animal cruelty is just too hard for me to watch. Even with the happy ending, this will haunt me for a while and make me shy away from people. What’s wrong with human beings?

I share the same feelings Sandy. I’m still haunting by a picture of animal cruelty in progress. Still sickens me.

Need to go get a tissue…that face is unforgettable. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Helen. It touched me deeply too.

My little Jack Russell, Pomeranian cross ‘Beaux’ looked not unlike this little fellow when he arrived 18 months back. He was a little rescue who had suffered Parvo Virus – almost died, of course. Now he’s a strapping little hunk of a dog – a bit timid, though in comparison is now a superdog. They just want to love, and to be loved. 🙂
