That gorgeous young man loves his mom – which just proves that a) he’s cute AND very wise; b) he makes smart choices; c) he returns the love he’s given and d) he knows that the only way you’re going to write about this adored guy is when he comes back from a life-changing trip or you note how close he and his mom are. I vote for the mom here – and Eric – I’ve got three mama’s boys – and when they marry and switch loyalties as they must – it is a seismic adjustment. Hug on that gorgeous mom of yours Eric – it’s good for both of you!

  2. This is really such a sweet post. Thanks! This week, my ‘older’ friends (ha ha – meaning those whose children are older than mine) have sent kids off to college. And we are all looking back at those photos of 9 year olds and asking: #howdidthishappen?
