The yearly Līgo celebration happens every summer solstice in Latvia. At this time people adorn their heads with Līgos of flowers, oak leaves, grasses and plants. They join circles around bonfires and celebrate life, and our appreciation of each other.

Hi David – I’m not sure, really…but I tried to hurry up myself…and everyone knows how I am about these things. I still have a few other awards to acknowledge…and which I will get to soon. This one was easier for me since I didn’t have to answer a lot of questions and it’s different than an award. You deserve this appreciation my friend!
