I am now in love with the blue footed booby – their walk is a little reminiscent of my mother-in-law walking on hot sand. I hope Eric and the rest of your family had a fabulous day yesterday.
OMG, Mimi, what a visual! LOL! Such funky birds–thx for the smile, David”
Smiling, laughing and agree. I fell in love with these cute little creatures. Thank you both.
You just need a little Elvis singing Blue Suede Shoes!
Never thought of that…great idea!

Aren’t they!
Where can I get feet like that? Amazing…..

The blue footed booby celebrates casual friday….everyday. Love it.
Laughing. I agree…
When we spent winters in Baja California, we saw these guys in action. They are beautiful to watch when they dive from quite a height and come up lunch. It’s getting back up in the air that amazes me. Have you ever thought about it? Diving for the fish is believable, but getting back up in the air…. Have you ever tried to jump out of the water?
I’ve never seen it. Must be a wonder to watch. And Baja, CA, what a wonderful place to spent a winter…
They’re so cute and comical. You wouldn’t expect them to be called by any other name, either.
Yes. I thought it was a joke until I looked up the name…and voila – what a perfect match.
My sentiments exactly!
