If this is a scientific experiment to determine which, or whose, camera is better, this experiment was not conducted properly. Your constant variables are not constant enough.

I have to call it a draw… Even if that’s not allowed LOL. Why? Because I prefer the sunrise in #1… but I prefer the look of the foreground BY FAR in #2.

Thanks Paul. #1 appeared to be the overwhelming favorite and it was taken with a Google Pixel 9 Pro and #2 was taken with a Samsung Ultra 24. And I’ve repeated this test multiple times and the Pixel wins each time. That being said, Cara’s iPhone 16 Pro wins almost every single time and my guess is the Operator had a lot to do with the outcome.
It would be interesting to compare the quality against a DSLR camera… But I realize set up would be a pain… Not to mention more $$ lost if somebody does a “snatch/grab and run”.
My guess was DSLR for #1 and iPhone for #2. Super cool that a phone camera can produce such good quality.
Interesting. Google Pixel smartphone for #1 and Samsung Galaxy ultra smartphone for #2. And Pixel and IPhone continue to shine on video front. I don’t have courage to leave my DSLR unattended for any length of time so I haven’t tried it yet!
