Pink Day. See more photos of Pink-a-palooza here and Twilight to Sunrise here.
Inspired by excerpt from Mary Oliver’s poem — “By morning I had vanished at least a dozen times into something better.” — Mary Oliver, “Sleeping in the Forest” in Sleeping in the Forest (Ohio University, 1978)
Today is the day to look at lovely photos of birds in the wild(like this one).
I can watch the way that heron (?) walks all day

Ah, the prelude to the upcoming Strawberry Moon! Link to the photos, fantastic 🙂
“Aside from the summer solstice, June’s full moon will be a delectable Strawberry Moon. This month the full moon will fall on June 21 — just a day after the summer solstice on June 20. The two only coincide every 20 years.”
The moon here was full and fabulous, last evening…Early Sunday morning it was 37 and on the other side of the mountain range 22 degrees…Mighty warm today and day after next 90, ugh. He put in one of the window a/c today…
Hot here too. Strawberry moon. Can’t wait.
Noticed Boston is expected to be 96, ugh
Thank you for such elegant beauty and deeply affecting poetry. How beautifully your Cove scenes facilitate our being able to vanish into something better over and over again!
