Sans the heron, your beautiful photos of the new morning remind me of waking up on camping trips. (Hated the night-time part, but loved opening my eyes outdoors at daybreak!)

Amazing … nature’s palette!! … “Post Title: From Mary Oliver’s “Terns”. DK Photos: 6:15 to 6:40. 60° F. Cove Island Park, Stamford, CT. “
Certainly nothing sweeter, except perhaps when the words perfectly sync with what we see…If Mary Oliver were still alive, she would have penned this precisely for the picture…
what an awe-inspiring way to start your day…

What a beautiful morning to witness, David.
And, how is it, that there are still Mary Oliver poems still raining on us ? I swear, I keep thinking I must have seen it all by Mary Oliver, but No.
