Thank you Darlene and your friend in Kenya. “We left the park and headed for the beach. On the way, we encountered an unusual road obstacle: a herd of camels. Travelled with a herd of goats and a few humans. The animals had taken over the tarmac and weren’t impressed we wanted space to drive by. They eventually moved to the side at a leisurely pace. I’m not sure camels really have any other pace when left to their own devices.”

Background on Caleb/Wednesday/Hump Day Posts and Geico’s original commercial: Let’s Hit it Again.
Morning commute.

I heard traffic was going to be heavy going into the 4th of July weekend….
Very heavy!
Camel family heading for the beach too..
Yes!
it’s all about the pace and feeling confident. if they. made leisure suits that would fit them back in the day, i’m sure they would wear them
Ha! Like that!
Total gridlock, Mon!
Laughing. True!
I remember seeing a commercial when one guy had to wait while two cars pass and saying that very thing 😉
Lead the way, Caleb, and while you’re at it, bring some rain clouds too! 😉 HHD, Dave!
He’s capable!
😉
fab (unless you really would like to continue your way…)
Ha!
My friend says that in the north and northeast of Kenya, there are a lot of camels so this is not an unusal sight.
I would LOVE to see that…Thanks again for the photo Darlene.
” at a leisurely pace” Yup, Caleb & his friends are such trendsetters…and I am right with them taking my Birthday in a total leisurely pace…
Happy Birthday!
Thank you! and yes it has already include a bit of Talenti Choc chip Raspberry Gelato and my special breakfast of creamed eggs on toast and 1/2 an apple with almond butter. 1/2 servings of leftover home made crisp with our fresh Tayberries and our frozen blackberries from last summer. & thankfully no triple digit heat!!! I indulge on my Birthday! I hope everyone has a nice evening!
Camels in search of an oasis. “Hey, up ahead! I think if we take the next exit there’s a gas station where we can get directions.”
