like a lovely series of understated watercolors –
It really was. Lori’s word: Ethereal….
Dawn fugue….lovely!
“Fugue” like “a contrapuntal composition in which a short melody or phrase (the subject) is introduced by one part and successively taken up by others and developed by interweaving the parts.?”
Yes. It was the sense of interweaving, repetitive elements that made me think of it…the linearity of the compositions, the tonality of each image…similar elements joined in different ways to create a pleasing visual symphony. Just how it struck me…😉
Ok, helpful, I’m adding it to the inventory.
something to fade into…
beautiful, DK
It is, well put Sawsan. There you go, translating photos into poetry.
Slept in today?
Actually, no. 2:30am wake up time. And traipsed around in the fog until it lifted.
It was worth it!
It was! Nap time now!

beautiful photos, David.
I don’t know why, but fog is one of my favorite weather events. There’s just something mysterious about it…
So me too Jim.
I think you have mastered that camera
The magic of Fuji technology and auto focus and auto settings. 🙂
Magic!
It was!
That morning mist seems to calm the world. Wish we could spread some of it to our city centers.
Yes. A nice cleansing mist.
Fantastic photos…eerie and comforting at the same time
Thanks Mimi. Agree…I felt like that all morning walking alongside the cove.
Thank you for sharing the calm of the early morning David. 💛
It was all that Val. Thanks.
