  1. I saw this the other day and immediately found it myself so I could watch it over again. Those eyes – ‘what have you guys been keeping from me all these months?!’ You have found your doppelgänger.

    1. In fact, I was watching the Impeachment hearings last night and had to turn it off, sickened by what I saw. Then turned on this Baby video and watched the loop over and over and over. Need more innocence and truth and wonder. So much more.

        1. Palliative: “(of a medicine or medical care) relieving pain without dealing with the cause of the condition.”

Yes, Palliative. Exactly that! LOVE THIS WORD TOO

      1. That farce (not all of it, mind you), or what I can see of it (S. Colbert et al) comes across like a terrible movie; you want to watch it but you haven’t got the stomach and guts for it…. what better than an innocent babe discovering a life-changing goodie!

      2. au contraire, I’m amazed at Schiff’s intelligence, courage, and stamina–I think we’re fortunate to have some representatives of that caliber…

    2. Mimi, I’m so thankful to you that together we can enhance DK’s vocabulary 🙂
Doppelgänger is, of course, (the ‘ä’ is a givaway) a German word – so he might be excused. Maybe he isn’’t a friend of private detective novels, but then I see that our dear friend didn’t know palliative I really wondered…. Made me sad in a way I can’t explain.
PS: I WILL come back to the Proust game, probably in March.
