I saw this the other day and immediately found it myself so I could watch it over again. Those eyes – ‘what have you guys been keeping from me all these months?!’ You have found your doppelgänger.

Oh, so ME TOO!
and btw, I had to look up Doppelganger. So love this word.
“an apparition or double of a living person”
She’s me! Or, I’m her!

In fact, I was watching the Impeachment hearings last night and had to turn it off, sickened by what I saw. Then turned on this Baby video and watched the loop over and over and over. Need more innocence and truth and wonder. So much more.

This video is the perfect palliative to the s—t show that is the hearings. Don’t get me started.

Palliative: “(of a medicine or medical care) relieving pain without dealing with the cause of the condition.”
Yes, Palliative. Exactly that! LOVE THIS WORD TOO

That farce (not all of it, mind you), or what I can see of it (S. Colbert et al) comes across like a terrible movie; you want to watch it but you haven’t got the stomach and guts for it…. what better than an innocent babe discovering a life-changing goodie!

So agree!!!

au contraire, I’m amazed at Schiff’s intelligence, courage, and stamina–I think we’re fortunate to have some representatives of that caliber…

Oh, I agree with that and Schiff. He was impressive.

Mimi, I’m so thankful to you that together we can enhance DK’s vocabulary 🙂
Doppelgänger is, of course, (the ‘ä’ is a givaway) a German word – so he might be excused. Maybe he isn’’t a friend of private detective novels, but then I see that our dear friend didn’t know palliative I really wondered…. Made me sad in a way I can’t explain.
PS: I WILL come back to the Proust game, probably in March.

Can’t keep up. You all drag my IQ up from the abyss.

Look at it as a bonus. You’re learning something new every day – thank us later! 😉

When I first saw this, I watched it over and over, too. Wonder if she likes mint chocolate chip, too? 😉

Oh I’m certain of that!

Too adorable. Your Mini-Me!

Through ice and fire, let us not be deterred from the good stuff! How adorable–and typical!

One of the best indulgences any baby can enjoy in life. Most trials in life can be endured with one ice cream cone.

I really don’t like being sticky so I’m glad it isn’t me who has to be touched by this adorable baby. Funny video though.

I guess this clearly shows we were meant to eat ice cream!
