Catholic, Non-Catholic. Believe. Don’t Believe. But Watch.

Of course I have sinned….
As a child, I have failed you first by not having the courage to taste of life itself.
Instead, I hid away in books, and then study.
I know now this left me empty and void of the world.

Anthony Hopkins as Pope Benedict XVI in The Two Popes (Netflix, 2019)

  1. I’ve followed some interviews (chats) with the main actors – a very important film I think and inasfar as your title goes, I couldn’t agree more! It’s one of those movies I honestly can’t wait to see.

  3. An amazing cast! Have always been a huge fan of Anthony Hopkins. This one is definitely going into my queue. Vanity Fair ran an interesting article last year about this curious situation of ‘two popes’ and the tension it is causing in the a Catholic Church…

  7. It is a movie I somewhat dread watching (for the emotional load, not the caliber of the actors) but am aware is important to watch. It is on my “before the end of 2019” list.
